Sobrasada Iberica de bellota de Extremadura is made with loin head and jowl of pure Iberian pork, all finely chopped to achieve a juicy and uniform texture. The mixture of spices in its marinade and its slow maturing process gives it a unique flavor and aroma, typical of natural Iberian products. Sobrasada is a cured, but spreadable chorizo. It has a melting texture, nutty sweetness, and pleasant smokiness.
Acorn-fed Ibérica sobrasada has a creamy texture that is perfect for spreading and enjoying the purest flavors of the Extremadura pastures. Its flavor melts on the palate, flooding the mouth with an intense and enveloping taste, which induces salivation and prolongs its taste through the throat, achieving an extraordinarily exquisite sensation.
