Mahon, named after the port of Mahon on the Minorca island, Spain, is a cow's milk cheese, produced by various dairies. Mahon is soft to hard cheese with a buttery, sharp, and salty taste. Mahon is rectangular or square with rounded edges and has a natural yellowish rind.
A unique cheese with a sweet and fruity aroma and a rich, bold flavor, Mahon is not for those who prefer bland cheeses.
STORAGE & CARE
Store it in the refrigerator in its vacuum package. Once opened, wrap it in plastic wrap and keep it in the refrigerator.
SERVING RECOMMENDATION
Serve it at room temperature.
As a highly versatile cheese, grate over pasta, rice, or vegetables, or serve as an appetizer with Olive Oil.

Raw cow’s MILK, rennet, salt, cheese cultures, firming agent: calcium chloride, preservative: potassium nitrate. Oil over the rind. The rind is not edible.
