Carabinero "0" Extra Large Red King Prawn (8-10 units)

"Carabineros" is a large deep-sea prawn species that hail from Eastern Atlantic into the Mediterranean Sea. Their distinct red color does not change when cooked. More distinct and robust in flavor than other shrimps or langoustine, they are also coveted for their large size. Also known as Scarlet Shrimp.

STORAGE & CARE

Keep frozen.

Defrost in the refrigerator. Wash the product well and cook thoroughly before consumption. Do not refreeze once defrosted.

SERVING RECOMMENDATION

They can be cooked in many ways, but in the oven, using the salt method is delicious and simple. Another way to do it is to grill it whole in the shell on a rock salt or charcoal grill for an explosion of flavor. 

Simply cover the bottom of the oven tray with coarse sea salt, place the shrimp on top, open it, and add more salt.
