With nearly 150 years of history, Yurrita is the oldest canning company in the Basque Country and one of the oldest active agri-food companies in Spain.
The Gilda is one of the most iconic tapas from the Basque Country, traditionally enjoyed as an aperitif in bars across northern Spain. This classic skewer brings together three simple but bold ingredients: Cantabrian anchovy, green olive, and guindilla pepper.
Yurrita’s Gilda de Anchoa is handcrafted with Cantabrian anchovies, selected olives, and mildly spicy guindilla peppers, all preserved in extra virgin olive oil. The result is a perfectly balanced bite — salty, tangy, slightly spicy, and full of authentic Spanish character.
Ready to serve straight from the pack, these gildas are ideal for tapas nights, entertaining, or pairing with vermouth, wine, or beer.
STORAGE & CARE
Keep refrigerated between 5°C and 12°C.
Once opened, keep refrigerated, covered with oil, and consume within 3 days for the best quality and flavour.

Serve chilled or at room temperature as a traditional Spanish tapa.
Enjoy on its own, with a glass of vermouth, white wine, or beer, or as part of a tapas spread with conservas, olives, and crispy bread.
