Serrano Ham Reserva Months. This particular ham comes from heavy pigs, which allows the curing process to be prolonged for an average of 18 months. A little salt from the Mediterranean Sea is used during the production process. The ham masters check and classify each piece until they decide that each ham has reached the ideal maturation.
STORAGE & CARE
We recommend you store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. The refrigerator is ideal since it has a constant temperature, but if you plan to consume it in the next few days, you can leave it out of the fridge. We advise consuming it before 8 months.
When you decide to consume it, you should place the closed package in hot water for about 30 seconds, this process will help to maintain the balance of flavor, aroma, and texture. In addition to preserving its color, it will help to separate the slices.
Once opened, the best place to store it is inside its envelope in the refrigerator; make sure it is properly closed to prevent it from drying out.
For greater enjoyment, it is recommended to take the sachet out of the refrigerator 30 minutes before consuming it; thanks to it, you enhance its flavor. We also recommend consuming it at room temperature, around 24 degrees.
