The Gilda is one of the most iconic tapas of the Basque Country, traditionally enjoyed as an aperitif in bars throughout northern Spain.
Lorea’s Gilda de Boquerón combines two tender Cantabrian white anchovy fillets with a pitted Manzanilla green olive and tangy piparra peppers. Each skewer is prepared by hand and preserved in oil, creating a balanced bite with savoury, briny, and gently acidic flavours.
The longer skewer provides a secure hold, making these ready-to-eat gildas easy to serve at tapas nights, gatherings, or aperitivo hour. Each tray includes six handcrafted skewers—simply open, serve, and enjoy.
STORAGE & CARE
This product is a semi-preserve and must remain refrigerated between 5°C and 12°C.
Once opened, keep refrigerated, ensure the gildas remain covered with oil, and consume within 72 hours.
SERVING RECOMMENDATION
Ready to eat.
Serve chilled or allow the gildas to sit briefly at room temperature before enjoying. Pair with vermouth, white wine, beer, or cider, or include them as part of a tapas spread with conservas, crispy bread, and Spanish olives.
Caution: Each Gilda is assembled on a non-edible wooden skewer. Remove the skewer carefully before eating and supervise children while serving.

Sunflower oil; green pitted Manzanilla olives 28.6% (olives, water, salt); piparra peppers 14.3% (peppers, water, vinegar, salt, antioxidant E-300, preservative E-224); Cantabrian white anchovies 12.7% (Engraulis encrasicolus, wine vinegar, salt).
