STORAGE & CARE
Store in a cool and dry place away from sunlight.
When the ham is open, it is necessary to protect it from the air, because air removes moisture from the surface, making it less juicy. In addition, oxygen can oxidize the surface, modifying the flavor of the first slices.
To protect the ham from the air, the best option is to cover it with thin slices of white fat. You can then cover it with plastic wrap to protect it completely.
SERVING RECOMMENDATION
Serve the ham at room temperature, approximately 24 degrees, to fully appreciate its unbelievable flavors.
We recommend eating it on its own; eating with your fingers is allowed. This is, in fact, the best way to eat it. But it can be consumed in many ways, with bread, Acanto Botanikal Extra Olive Oil, and tomato, in sandwiches as we serve it in our Jamoneria Bar and Tasting Room or as an appetizer accompanied with some Obando Picos Gourmet.
